Usage | Indicated for inflammatory conditions of the conjunctiva and anterior segment such as allergic conjunctivitis, SPK, iritis, discaform keratitis, etc. |
Warning | Glaucoma, cataract formation, secondary ocular infection following suppression of host response and perforation of the globe may occur. |
Contraindications | Most viral diseases of the cornea and conjunctiva including epithelial herpes simplex keratitis, vaccinia, and varicella, mycobacterial and fungal disease. Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of this preparation and to other corticosteroids. |
Pediatric use | Safety and effectiveness in pediatric patients have not been established. |
Pregnancy | Category C. Teratogenic in mice with ophthalmic application. |
