Contraindications | Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the preparation. | |
Pediatric use | Children are particularly prone to corticosteroid-induced HPA axis suppression. Chronic corticosteroid therapy may interfere with the growth and development of children. |

Pregnancy | Category C. There are no adequate studies in pregnant women for this drug. | |
Not for use in the eye. Prolonged use causes skin thinning so prolonged use on eyelid skin is inadvisable. See Lotemax ointment. |
